We’re privileged to have warm days, beautiful evenings and lots of blooming sunflowers in Yolo County during the month of July.  This all adds up to a great opportunity to take some sunset/dusk photos of the fabulous sunflowers

On a warm Friday evening I met up with Sharon Barker, Vicky Stillwell and Janet Peters for a trip to the sunflowers fields of  Zamora. Mother Nature did not disappoint and treated us to a wonderful sunset over a field in full bloom.

I hope you will get out and look at the sunflowers.  Look at the map provided by Visit Yolo or take a ride up Hwy 45 from Knights Landing to Colusa. Please respect the growers by not going into the fields, be careful on the two lane roads, beware that bees are just doing their job and be sure to park in a safe area off the road.
