Lewis Kemper
Lewis Kemper is widely recognized as a photographer, writer, and instructor, lecturing and teaching throughout the United States. He served as Canon’s Explorers of Light for 10 years and now serves as an Explorer of Light Emeritus.
Lewis is the author of “The Yosemite Photographer’s Handbook”, and “The Yellowstone Photographer’s Handbook.” He was the photographer for, “Ancient Ancestors of the Southwest”, published by Graphic Arts Center Publishing. Kemper’s monograph, “Capturing the Light” won the People’s Choice Awards in Fine Art in the 2009 Photography.Book.Now competition. His latest publication “Photographing Yosemite Digital Field Guide” was voted in the top 20 field guides. In addition to the many workshops he teaches, he produces the acclaimed training DVDs, “The Photographer’s Toolbox for Photoshop” and “The Photographer’s Toolbox for Lightroom.” His newest project, “My Stretch of the River; A Photographer’s Journal,” is a multimedia DVD presentation coving his year long documentation of a section of the American River in Sacramento, CA.
